Meet an Astronaut
October
October 6-13 Mexican Riviera Cruise
This is me in the dining room of our cruise petting
my napkin mouse. My waiter Diki taught me how
to make it. I could make the mouse move and jump
onto mom and dad. It really made me giggle.
The water in Cabo San Lucas
(called the Sea of Cortez) was
really warm. I walked a little ways
out and it was already up to my
waist, so my dad helped me out!
There were very little bumps of
water but no waves it only crested
and crashed a bit on the shore.
In Mazatlan, we spent most of the
day at the El Cid. This is a waterfall
into one of the pools there. I am
standing straight up and the water in
this part is really that deep. At the
bottom of this waterfall, there is the
pool that we have to jump in to. Even
my grandpa jumped off the waterfall.
Look, I'm flying!
Daddy and I are kayaing on the ocean in Mazatlan. It was fun
except for the fact that I almost got crushed by a big wave when
we were coming back in. This big wave came and it dumped
Daddy out of the kayak and he had to keep the kayak straight
so I could stay in. It's a good thing my daddy is strong.
As soon as we got off out ship in Puerto Vallarta, I
got to take this picture with a real parrot. It was
nibbling on my hat. It was quite light. But when I
held him on my arm, he grabbed on very tight.
Our ship was this big!
(from far away)
After we went zip-lining through all these
trees, we got to cool off in the stream below.
The water was very cold, but it felt so nice
after zip-lining in the heat for the past hour.
Mexican hair braids.
Can you see the picture of the
lady flying through the trees? That
is zip-lining, that is what we did.
