October |
I met a REAL astronaut! |
On Wednesday, October 17, 2007 we got to meet Dr Tracy Caldwell. She flew on the Space Shuttle Endeavour to the Space Station. Her mission was August 8-21, 2007. |
Space Shuttle Endeavour's STS-118 mission was the 22nd shuttle flight to the International Space Station. It continued space station construction by delivering a third starboard truss segment. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pag es/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts118 /main/index.html |
While Tracy was telling us about her adventure, I was drawing a picture of her space shuttle and then when I met her, she signed it for me! |
