At lake tahoe

Sunday, August 5, we woke up very early to catch the bus ride to Lake Tahoe. It took us 8 hours to get there because our bus driver took a wrong turn. When we got there, we got to go to our cabins and unpack a bit. One day we got to kayaking, it was fun even though the cousellor who was in the boat with me, tipped us over. One day it was Military day. We did rock climbing, we played tag and tag with frisbees, we had to figure out how to get all 7 people over a 4 foot rope and we were allowed to use a board about 4 feet long. We were not allowed to go under the rope, to touch the rope or let the board touch the rope, but the board was allowed to go under the rope. There also was a spider web made out of rope, and we had to get all seven people through the spider web without touching the rope or going through the same hole twice. We also guided a partner through a maze with voice commands and the tricky part was they were blind folded. I also learnt how to fold a flag! On Tuesday at camp I found a 4 leaf clover. At the end of camp we had a big dance party. The drive home we had only a six hour bus ride back to Las Vegas because the driver knew the way home. .
