January in the Dominican Republic
These are pictures of me and my family at the Caverns of Cabarete in the Dominican Repulic. In the
first cave there was a pool that you could jump in that was five to ten feet deep, it was fun to swim
in the cave. The second cave was a museum cave that gave hints to the origin of the island. The last
cave was the crystle cave, every wall was sparkling.
These are pictures of me
and my family at a beach in
Cabarete.The picture on the
right is my sand land.The
picture on the left is of me
and my family on the beach.
These pictures are of me, Rydel, my
Dad and Michael at the 27 Charcos
(water falls) in Cabarete. We got to
jump and slide off of high water falls
and low water falls. We had to wear
helmets and lifejakets because there
were very narrow areas. When I
landed in the water my helmeat lifted
off my head a little bit and made me
very uncomfortable but it was still fun.
We spent January in the Dominican Republic. Did you know that they use pesos for money? So we had
to divide every thing by 33, because it was 33 pesos to one american dollar. While we were there we
made some new friends. The Mom was Dorina, the Dad was Michael and two kids, Danelle 4 and
Matthew who was 3 years old.
