Christmas in Florida

We made it to Daytona Beach Florida just in time for Christmas. Before we could do anything we had to get ready for Christmas. One of the first things that we had to do was get a Christmas tree. We looked for a small one but we couldn't find one we liked. So we made one instead.

We went to Chistmas Eve Mass, but instead of attending church in a building we went to a drive in chruch. They gave us glow sticks instead of candles and a cup of grape juice as wine and we got a little piece of bread. To listen to the preist we tuned the radio to their station and for the songs the choir sang instead of clapping we honked our horn.

After Mass we went home and wrote our letters to Santa. Rydel and I put out cookies and egg nog and went to right to bed. When we woke up we saw that Santa had found us in Dayton Beach. I got a star lazer pointer and Rydel got binoculers. When we first looked they looked like they were floating, but Santa made them hang on fishing line.

This picture was taken on Christmas day. We went swiming in the ocean and built sand castle's.

We also had New Years in Daytona Beach. One of my mom's friend Angela came to spend New Years with us. We walked around downtown and watched the fireworks and had lots of fun!!!
