At the beach

We lived at the beach for 11 days. We made sand castles, we dug a
big hole, we made a sand girl. I did a little bit of body boarding and
jumped in the waves and got crushed almost every day. It was so
much fun! We made a sand castle 2 feet high and 4 feet wide. Then,
of course, we crushed it. We made the sand girls bathing suit out of
sea shells. The hole we dug was about 3 ½ feet deep and 2 feet
wide. We found lots of little sand crabs by the rocks on the beach. It
was funny watching them try and dig in the sand and then when a
wave came, they buried themselves under the sand. I guess that's why
they are called sand crabs.
