At the beach

After Las Vegas we went Los Angeles and stayed at Dockweiler State Beach. During our 11 days there we made sand castles, played with sand crabs, went swimming in the ocean and went body surfing. I loved surfing because it is like a ride without a seat belt. The scary part about it is when the wave crushes you. When my dad was digging in the sand he found these little crabs so my mom researched them and found out they are called sand crabs. It was fun playing with them and watching them dig back into the sand. To find out more click here. We made a sand castle almost every day. And when we didn't my sister, my dad and I would dig a big hole and we also built a sand girl. It was lots of fun at the beach. My favourite part about staying at the beach was the surfing part. The difference is you are on your stomach when you are body boarding and standing up when you are surfing.
