I was on a medical leave from work,
we were junk food junkies
AND we were sick all the time.
I knew there had to be a better way.
I knew this was not what I signed up for.

I needed to TRANSFORM MY LIFE!

FAST FORWARD 18 MONTHS
August 2007

We left Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on our
10 month Hemmings' Family Adventure!

We packed up our two children (Rydel 12, Taylor Rae 8) and our
mini van and a travel trailer and "Hit the Road".

For 10 glorious months we travelled to and through

California
(side trip - 7 day cruise to Mexico)
Arizona
New Mexico
Texas
Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Florida
(30 day side trip - Dominican Republic)
Georgia
Tennessee
Missouri
Nebraska
South Dakota
North Dakota
Manitoba
Saskachewan
and back home to Alberta

When the cold weather hit, again we were off...
straight to Florida for 4 months...
